David Gonzalez joins the company as Director of Color Services bringing his color training expertise to Danny Jelaca Salon clients and staff. David was Director of Color Services at Oribe Salons in New York and Miami for more than 20 years, hand picked by Oribe to work alongside renowned colorist Brad Johns. He is a master of color and color correction with a huge portfolio of celebrity clients as well as years backstage at Fashion Week shows in New York, London, Paris, Milan and here at Miami’s Swim Week, booked alongside Danny for Sports Illustrated shoots and shows. His celebrity following includes the “supers” Cindy Crawford and Naomi Campbell and other luminaries.

Meredith is Senior Stylist and Assistant Training Director as well as Danny’s right hand at Danny Jelaca Salon, having worked alongside Danny for more than a decade. She began her career with Vidal Sassoon, eventually rising to lead the opening of Sassoon Salon Miami. Meredith’s expertise is chic, modern cuts and hair repair. She serves as National Training Director for Leonor Greyl with training in Paris with Madame Greyl. Meredith offers the latest Leonor Greyl treatments in the salon’s exclusive Leonor Greyl private treatment room.

Steven Schmidt joins Danny Jelaca Salon as Senior Hair Stylist from Oribe where he was the first National Educator for Oribe Hair Care. As an acolyte of Oribe, Steven’s speciality is customized hair cuts and expert blow-outs for big beautiful hair. Steven has unparalleled business acumen in the salon world, having worked side by side with Oribe to develop the Oribe salon product line including formulation and testing. Oribe Hair Care is recognized as the number one selling salon brand internationally. Steven also has a devoted celebrity clientele and years of experience working backstage with Oribe at Fashion Week couture shows in New York, Paris and Milan for Armani, Ferragamo and others. Steven was regularly called backstage with Oribe for the Victoria Secret Fashion Show as well as Swim Week here in Miami.
